FAQ

Questions, answered.

For companies

How quickly can you get electricians on my job?

It depends on your location, scope and license requirements. We aim to reply within one business day with a straight answer on who’s available and when they can start.

Are the electricians licensed?

Yes. We verify license status for the state where your project is before anyone is matched, and we match license level to your scope.

How does billing work?

You get one weekly invoice covering the work performed that week. Rates and terms are agreed in writing before anyone starts.

Is there a minimum length?

No fixed minimum. Requests range from a few days of extra help to multi-month projects. You can extend, scale up or scale down as the job changes.

Where do you operate?

We serve all 50 states. Availability varies by location, so tell us where the job is and we’ll be upfront about coverage.

For electricians

Does it cost anything to join?

No. Joining the network is free, and there are no lead fees. You only take the jobs you want.

Who can join?

Licensed journeyworkers, master electricians and licensed electrical contractors. Requirements vary by state, so tell us your license and where you work.

Will I be a contractor or an employee?

That depends on your state’s rules, your license and whether you operate your own business. We set up each engagement to fit those requirements rather than making one-size-fits-all promises. If you’re unsure, check with your own advisor.

Do I need my own business and insurance?

Not to join. If you run your own licensed electrical business with insurance, tell us. If you don’t, we’ll talk through the options available in your state.

How and when do I get paid?

Pay runs on a weekly cycle. The rate for each job is shared up front, before you accept it.

Need hands, or need work?

Either way, it starts with a two-minute form.
